Jewish Alpha School
After I sold my company, I found myself drawn to reimagining how our children are taught. I love learning, but I hated school. Joe Liemandt is challenging himself to educate a billion students via Alpha School, harnessing the power of technology. He expects mastery from all students and helps them get there with precise attention to gaps, skillful practice at their edges, and constant sensitivity to enthusiasm and motivation. "Kids must love school more than vacation." I'm sold. But we need Jewish Alpha School — Hebrew, Torah, and Gemara. In three hours, so the kids get their time back for activities that build Jewish character, engage with Jewish values, and create Jewish community. This is giving me energy. It feels meaningful. So this is what I'm devoted to.
